| hey guys! me again! remember?!
ok so i spent the weekend completely gutting my bedroom. i cleared out EVERYTHING! All my possessions are residing in the spare room waiting to be organised back, I got some new drawers and stuff, moved my bed around and all this stuff. I'm gonna get some shelves and stuff to put books on, bits and pieces rather than have my units around.
However I'm looking for some stuff to decorate with...share your ideas and preferably, links and tutorials with me! I was gonna buy stuff like a rug and a beanbag for reading but things like, i dunno, little bits and bobs to put around and make it look cute...uh I have things in my head but I can't get the words >.<
One thing I do want it a moose/deer/stag head type thing. I was in a bar and they had an MDF wood, thing like bits cut-out and slotted together to make it 3D. If that makes sense? Anyone know of anything like that?!
I dunno, I'm feeling crafty so if you know of anything cute I could make...like adie from decorating little boxes or something. Cool stuff! I'm browsing craftster and stuff. hmm. I always like asking you lot.

| In my room I went to Oxfam (but most charoty/sencond hand places will have some) and got some old records, i have a wham one, two billy idol ones and a frank sinatra one. These look really good blue tac-ed on a wall either next to their case or on their own. | |

| You could hit your craft store for some little paper mache boxes:

Your jewelry would look cute in some of them, and you could paint them however you want so it's entirely your style. Kinda nifty.

| My FAVOURITE thing to decorate with are MASKS. You can buy pre-made ones (I get plastic ones from Michael's and papier mache ones from Party Packagers) and decorate however you like. I just think they make AWESOME ornaments on a wall. I saw some really cool stuff in Wally World, like zebra pillows, furry pillows in bright colours, stickers for the walls in cool shapes and bright colours---made me wish I was a teenager so I could decorate my bedroom like that! (Grant wouldn't appreciate that....LOL). So take a peak around for stuff like that. I have hanging butterflies, I haven't got a picture of my own on my laptop, but I'll post a link so you know exactly what they are! They look reaaally lovely when you hang from ceiling/stick them to the wall. |
