my industrial is itchy >.<

the bottom piercing on my industrial is itching like crazy but i don't wanna touch it because it hurts to touch.

should i be worried?

nup..itchy means its healing..try submerging it in cold water for a wee while..it'll take the itch away.. Do you have one piece of jewellery in it or two?

Don't use alcohol, but most piercers recommend using salt water to clean the area.

I wouldnt clean it with soap..even if it says its pH neutral, you just dont know what nasty chemicals might be in it..And yeh, dont use alcohol, will dry your skin up far too much.

personally i say salt soaks everytime..its always worked for me..quarter of a tea spoon of sea salt in a mug of boiling water and use a cotton bud to dip it in and clean round the piercings..twice a day (three times if its getting really crusty and you feel you need to)

Although this is whats worked for me, everyones different, it might dry out your ear so you might need less salt or whatever. And be careful not to get any shampoo or soap in it.

..definitely not getting an industrial now.. Thanks, guys! I'll probably stick with my original idea of piercings all the way up my ear so that I can get studs with little gems and have rainbows on my ears.

my friend is getting piercings like, up through the ridge of her ear and wears spikes in them so she has a spikey ear. it's cool.
