| Edit: I almost forgot the WHY. For almost any tattoo that I have and/or plan on getting, though some people might think it stupid... I just want to have original artwork by my good artist friends on my body. I don't ever want generic tattoos. I have a few of friends who are AMAZING artists, and it means a lot to me to have their art on my body. Lame as it is. :3Tattoos I have: Just one! I have an orangey triceratops on my right leg. He's all... disgruntled. Tattoos I am getting SOON: Before I move away I want to get a tattoo dedicated to my dearest friend Ashes. She and I came up with the idea together. She has two old-fashioned pistols tattooed on her chest, so I want to get something similar. I'm getting laser guns tattooed in the same spot. I <3 laser guns. After I move I'm getting sunflowers tattooed on the outside of my left thigh. My friend Danielle is an apprenticing tattoo artist (she did my triceratops) and I'm a get her to do them. Tattoos I want in the future: After I get into art college *fingers crossed* I want to get a sleeve on my left arm. It'll be a blue-and-purple sort of space scene with two little astronauts up at the top and a rocket ship toward the bottom, plus lots of other spacey things shoved in there - with kind of a vintage look to it. AND I want the bottom part of it to sort of break up into little stars that get smaller as they go down... but still have the picture in them! This one is sort of different because I don't actually know the girl who I want to commission to draw it, I just *LOVE* her art and she's a huge inspiration for me. I also want to get hearts on my knuckles one day. THE END. SO FAR. Hee hee.

| Ouch.... that would kill on your knuckles!
Can I ask a question? Like... I know that tattoos are painful... obviously. But how much do they really hurt? |

| Honestly, when I got mine done, it was almost more annoying than painful... like a vibrating sensation.
It varies from place to place though. Some spots hurt way worse than others, I hear.
Also, I have ridiculous pain tolerance, so my opinion doesn't count. Ha ha! |

| Depends on your tolerance. My sister is a wimp, for example.. She got a little inch-tall celtic knot on her stomach about three inches above her hip bone, and she was whimpering the entire time. The flowers around my wrist took a little over an hour, and it hurt like hell, but I was able to sit still and only complained that it hurt when the artist was laughing about having to go back near the bone. Trish's took maybe a half hour to do, and she was ready to pass out. | |

haha. one of mandy's cousins has "fuck you" tattooed there... so when you said that you wanted something meaningful, i thought of that and laughed a little |
